The MPI Poly Sample Player or PolySP for short, is a polyphonic sample player for unreal engine.
It comes in the form of an actor component that you can add to any Actor, Pawn or Character.

You can also add it to other blueprints using the add component method.

PolySP is a simple sample player that allows for mapping samples to a note and velocity range.

You can have different velocities trigger different wav samples.

It does not come with fancy functionality like reverse, scrub or pitch shift.

It is meant for accurate playing of individual musical notes.

This component is part of a music tool set I'm building and is meant to incorporate with other tools in the future, hence why it comes with a handy function library that allows for easy conversion between musical notation and midi functionality.

Creating a patch is pretty straight forward.

You can create and export 16bit wav files from your favourite DAW or get pre-made

sample packs with note information, Import them into Unreal,

Navigate to the PolySP_Patches structure and add a new item to its array.

Then it's just a matter of mapping your wav files to your keys and velocities.

Features:

- Easy Patch Creation

- Pitch Tracking

- Note and Velocity mapping

- Musical Notation Function Library
