Release Log
V.2.2 Update
- Feedback is now on by default and displayed in the note bar
This made it possible to remove the settings tab all together
- Improvements made to diagonal selections
V.2.1 Update
Version 2 finally works on Macintosh systems
Windows users can ignore this update has nothing else changed
V.2.0 Update
- The Mad Pony Pie Menus 2 is quite a different plugin from its previous versions.
Installing this version will not remove or update previous versions.
It will be installed as a separate plugin named "Mad Pony Pie Menu 2"
- In this version there are no sliders available as I am currently working on a separate plugin called "Slider Control" winch will work seamlessly with the Pie Menu 2 plugin. If you are already a owner of the Mad Pony Pie Menu plugin, the "Slider Control" plugin will be free for you.
- Macros and Switches have been removed as are no longer necessary considering the new functionality.
- You can now assign any ZBrush interface button or switch to a pie position (Including Macros).
- You can also assign other pies to a pie position allowing you to have sub menu functionality.
V.1.4 Update
Bug Fixes:
- Horizontal and Vertical offset sliders were removed as the positioning of the pie menus now work on all systems.
- Buttons are now renamed as expected.
- Undo sliders are not working as expected and will be removed for this version. They may return at a later version.
Updates:
- Switches added. Similar to sliders you now have a list of switches that when triggered will toggle on/off.
- The SET buttons are gone. To set a pie position simply click on the position it self and select the desired macro, switch or slider
V.1.3 Update
Bug Fixes:
- On some systems, the pie menu pop up would not be centred around the cursor. 2 new sliders were introduced in the settings sub palette where you can adjust the pie position. Closing the right and/or left dividers will change the offset again. V.1.4 will be out soon and will get rid of these sliders and introduce a definite fix.
- Undo sliders stopped working when pie menu pop up was introduced.(fixed)
Updates:
- When setting up a pie position you no longer need to type the slider or macro name as a selection window will pop up and allow you to make a selection.
V.1.2 Update
Version 1.2 brings you the most requested feature, a visual representation of the pie positions.
Bug Fixes: On a Macintosh Slider mode would not exit.
You can now exit slider mode by re-triggering or triggering any menu/pie.
(Do not click and drag when in slider mode, this will create a snapshot. If it happens press CTRL+N to clear)
- Visual representation of the pie sets The long awaited feature to have a visual representation of the pie sets/options is now available.
When you now trigger a pie menu (apart from 2 way sliders) all your sets/pie positions will pop up and blink at the set "Motion Speed" in the Settings tab.
If you set your "Motion Speed" to "0" you will have to click on the option to select it, otherwise a movement is enough to trigger your set selection.
"Pixel Distance" will make more sense now as you will have a visual representation of what it does, it controls the distance from your cursor position to the sets/options position.
V.1.1 Update
Version 1.1 of the Mad Pony Pie Menu Plugin for Zbrush is out and with it control over some of ZBrush sliders as well as canvas navigation is introduced.
-You now have eight, 8 way pie menus, eight 4 way pie menus and eight 2 way pie menus which are a special type of menu meant for slider controls only.
-Sub palettes added for clearer navigation
-Pie Menus
- 8 Way Menus
- 4 Way Menus
- 2 Way Menus
- Settings
- Sliders
-Disabling "Feedback Text" will disable the "Feedback Speed" slider
-New type of control: Sliders
This update introduces a new type of control called sliders.
Under the Settings sub palette you now have a Sliders sub palette that will display all available slider controls for the plugin.
More sliders will be added in future versions.
Apart from assigning your typical macros you can now assign these sliders.
- 3 Presets are included in this version under the "2 Way Menus", Slider Q, Slider R and SLider S.
